In part one of this post I covered my answers to the questions all Sunshine Award recipients must respond to. In this post I will pass the award on to ten bloggers who in my opinion deserve to receive it.
So who do I want to pass this award on to? My list is extensive so I need to work hard to reduce it to 10 people. As I said both Barry Wells and Randy Smith would be on it, along with a whole bunch of others who I know have received the award: Adrienne Smith, Kathy Dobson, Dawn Kay, Nikki Stephens, but as they have already received the award I would like my list to be made up of those who maybe have not had it yet. So here are my ten nominations:
Steve King. Steve would always be at the top of my list. Since meeting Steve 3 years ago through internet marketing he has been my best buddy online and has helped me more than anyone else. His niche is golfing, but he has a wealth of knowledge about IM techniques and has able and willing to help out in any situation I have stumbled over.
Hilary Melton-Butcher. Hilary writes about pretty much anything and everything. Calling her blogspot blog ‘Positive Letters’, she signs off ‘Positive Letters Inspirational Stories’, and they certainly are inspiring and positive. I have been a great fan of Hilary’s blog for a couple of years now. Many of the posts are historical and all are full of fascinating facts, but it is her interaction with her readers that draws me back time and again. Add to that her post scripts to Mr. Postman with comments about her mother’s days and her health and I find I have really felt I know Hilary as a friend. It was Hilary who introduced me to the A to Z Challenge for bloggers, and I will be entering in April with my other blog, Kitchen Blogging.
Stuart Turnbull. Stuart is another internet marketer who has helped me with plenty of free advice during my internet marketing journey. He is a full time internet marketer so he knows what he is talking about as he has made it work for him.
Peggy Baron. I first met Peggy online a couple of years ago. Since then I have seen her constantly helping people out, including me, and the PLR products she writes and sells are always the very best quality. Also in terms of ethical marketing, Peggy always limits the number of copies of her PLR so the market isn’t flooded with the same writing. If you want to know more about what Peggy does just click the banner in the sidebar, Allstar PLR.
Steve Wilkins. Steve is someone I have known online for about 3 years now. I have received plenty of encouragement and help from Steve, and I’ve seen him hand it out freely to others. Another reason I have nominated Steve is last year he completed a charity run, and in my opinion anyone who puts in time and effort to raising money for a good cause is worthy of an award.
Terry Dollard. Terry is on my list because I go to Randy Smith’s Northallerton Marketing Meetups and Terry is also a regular attendee. Terry is always so helpful and willing to talk through ideas and offer suggestions. He has had a major impact on my IM work over the past year since I started going to Northallerton and listening to what he has to share.
Brandon Connell. Brandon is on my list because I find his blog both informative and helpful. I have had the pleasure of writing some guest posts for Brandon and he has always been complimentary and supportive of my efforts in Internet Marketing, and I’ve seen him offer help and solutions to online difficulties people may be experiencing.
Jay and Lynne Mueller. Again I have known Jay and Lynne online for about 3 years now. I almost met up with them when I was in the US a couple of years ago. We were in the same area but sadly a few days apart. I do hope that I will get to see them on one of my trips though as we do travel in the same places. I’m sure it will happen. They are also people you can turn to for help when you need it.
Paula Brett. I’d like to give a shout out for Paula because although she doesn’t blog so much now she is a rock when it comes to support and help offered in her web hosting business. I know that anyone who knows Paula, her business partner Dan, and their company, D9, has the greatest admiration and respect for both her and Dan. She also wrote an ebook that is used often by new Internet Marketers who want to create a product, called Operation eBook.
Dan Sumner. I’d like to nominate Dan because he was always so helpful when he was working with John Thornhill on John’s Masterclass course that I took 3 years ago. Dan is also always very helpful and encouraging through his personal blog and is very approachable should you need anything. He’s a great techie person to know and his blog posts are always full of really helpful tips!
So there are my ten nominations for the Sunshine Award. Please visit their blogs and leave them a comment, even if it’s just to congratulate them on receiving the award! I know they’d all appreciate it.
