Decisions, Decisions!

I have been blogging for nearly four years now and used this domain,, to promote and expand my self help interests.  The site has been very popular and posts have achieved large numbers of comments.

About two years ago I started another domain focussing on teaching others how to blog.  This domain also was very popular and achieved a good ranking and plenty of comments.  Over time I found it more and more difficult to maintain both domains, especially with the other niche interest sites I had started.

So recently I made the decision to move my Learn To Blog site onto this domain, and amalgamate the two interests.

I think it will work well and I will continue to focus mostly on Learning To Blog and bringing you top tips for bloggers.  But from time to time you might see a snippet of my other interests popping into the posts!

Enjoy the journey.

  1. Hey Mandy,

I think It’s a good idea what you did merging your two blogs. It not only makes it easier on you but I think others can get to know you better.

I can kind of relate, what you did. I am into many things not only Internet marketing, and if I were to open a blog up for each interest it just would be a bit overwhelming for me work wise, so as I wrote in my blog post I will be introducing health topics from time to time on my blog.

After reading your post its got me thinking, maybe I can blog about fine food from time to time as well. HMmmm….. will it hurt? Internet marketing, health, wealth and good nutrition (food for thought for a blog post). If you don’t’ know already Mandy, I am heavily evolved in the restaurant business and have nothing about my entrepreneurial, culinary skills online.

I just can’t handle the burden of running two, even three blogs along with my offline life. What to do? Thanks for your post Mandy, you sure got me thinking? That’s not a bad thing, that’s a great thing! As you named your blog post- Decisions, Decisions.

    1. Hi Terry, thanks for visiting. I agree, we all have so many different interests, it’s quite hard to focus on just the one thing on your blog. Most bloggers I know have had a main theme but then a few posts that are about something completely different. And sometimes they make an analogy to their main theme in the post too.

      Enjoy the journey.

You need to know exactly what your options are and what the benefits and consequences are for each.

    1. Hi Jared, well, I considered all the options and went for the change. I’m pleased I did that.

      Enjoy the journey.
