Pdf versus book
Most writings purchased via the internet will be delivered as a downloadable pdf file. This is an easy and fast way to get your publication to your customer. However, unless your customer wants to print the numerous pages off and put them in a folder the only way they can be read via the computer they are downloaded to. There are very few publications available in book form but one that is causing a lot of discussion has emerged just recently. Written by Ewen Chia the book is entitled ‘How I made My First Million on the Internet and How You Can Too! The Complete Insider’s Guide to Making Millions With Your Internet Business’. The book itself is relatively low cost, just around £14 with shipping from Amazon. Compare this with the price of some downloadable pdf publications and it is a bargain. The advantage of having a book is you can read it anywhere, take it to the beach, read it in bed, bung it in your backpack and read it on the train to work. You can’t easily do that with a pdf file.
I have just purchased Ewen’s book. I hope to receive it in the next few days and I hope it turns out to be all that it promises. I will let you know!

Hi Mandy!
Good post! I agree ebooks can be so much more expensive than physical books and yet they’re so much harder to read.
However, I can really recomend the Sony ebook Reader PRS-505 which I for Christmas! It’s easy to download ebooks too and is totally portable. Currently I’ve got about 20 ebooks on mine, photos, some audio files (those interviews with guru’s that come as unadvertised bonuses) and digital versions of several real books! It’s so portable too – and as an avid Harry Potter fan, I wish the HP series were digitised to make “lighter” holiday reading!
Good luck with the masterclass program! Don’t get too sidelined with Ewen’s affiliate marketing techniques!
Cheers!
Susan
Hi Susan,
I might have to get one of those myself!
Enjoy the journey.

Hello Mandy,
You have a beautiful blog blossoming here! I have enjoyed all of your posts so far – they are right up my ally
Nowadays we have become so very much accustomed to store our precious info on computers, listen to music on mp3 players and sometimes I wonder what happened to the ‘good old times’ when books were simply books. Yet, changes keep us alert and allow us to stay flexible, and since we have decided to become Internet marketers, it is definitely wise to branch out and learn the trade.
In either case, I would very much be interested to hear more about the book your purchased from Amazon.
Looking forward to touch base with you again in the near future!

Great post Mandy,
I am also concerned about the use of PDF files, especially as we will probably end up selling them as Internet Marketeers! Maybe the Sony ebook Reader is a solution, it certainly sounds more useful than having a PDF stored on your computer.
Keep up the good work.
John
Nice idea, John, thanks for that.
Enjoy the journey.

Hi Mandy,
Interesting post about this comparison , i believe John Thornhill once promoted a product where you can turn an ebook product into a proper book publication to sell through bookstores for greater profits on the same infomation !
Thanks for that info you have reminded me to look that up .
Take care Mandy TTFN….Ed.
Hi Ed,
Thanks for that, for me it is simply about accessibility. A book is more accessible than the computer most of the time.
Enjoy the journey.
