I have the most fun in life when I am doing the things that I truly enjoy. I have noticed that when I am doing things I don't enjoy, there is never enough time because my attention is usually focused on other things. When I am doing what I enjoy, I am living in that moment, and I do not notice the time.

Therefore, I made a decision to do more things that I enjoy and less of the "have to". I also meditate about 30 minutes a day which is not only relaxing, but it has reduced my sleep time from eight hours to six hours.

Now I have an extra two hours a day to do more of what I enjoy.

Namaste,

Reginald

Enjoy the journey.

Hello Mandy,

Good post that will resonate with many people I think. You're right, everyone seems to be busier and busier these days, and should try to create a bit of relaxation time. I'm one of the worst culprits, working too hard in order not to if you know what I mean, the point you try to reach where you can relax never seems to arrive and so as you say it's best just to make time now rather than hoping you'll have time in the future.

Good luck and hope you geta quiet day again sometime soon.

Regards

Dave

Hi Mandy

You're so right! I've found that I was just burning out after a few weeks. I was waking up at four in the morning thinking about blog topics for example. Then just trying to do too much all day every day. Eventually I let rip at the kids over something trivial and realised that I was getting very stressed and that it just wasn't fun. So I have taken a couple of weeks off and just hung back a bit to recharge. Feeling more positive again and ready to focus.

Lovely graphic header BTW, very fitting colour and imagery for a healing/spiritualist blog if that is where you decide to take it.

I'm not a Spiritualist but I do some work as a healer with the NFSH and have started a healing-related site at http://blog.mystic-cloud.com

As you will know there is a strong Spiritualist Healing Church in Norwich so I know a few people involved with that.

Best wishes for all your endeavours and let the Source be with you!
