There are too many credible people who have seen evidence of technology we cannot comprehend to think we are alone in the universe.

If they are returning to check on our progress as you theorise, then in general they must be highly dissapointed.In that I don’t mean our technological advances but general behaviour, morals and standards.

Thanks for your link to my blog. I felt so surprised and proud when I saw it, I must be going up in the world – recognition at last :O)

Linking with the Hubble photos indicating the mind-boggling size of our universe, I think it is absolutely teeming with life. If there is a creator, why would God make a ‘dead’ universe? However, I also believe that the universe is too large, with in-built physical speed limits that prevent alien contact.

So all alien races can live in their own bit of the universe in peace, and explore as much as they like, without ever meeting another species. It’s only a Star Trek ‘Warp Drive’ that would enable alien contact, and according to Einsteins theory of Relativity this is not possible. (Sorry, I wish it was)!

PS. Thanks for your ‘Moon’ comment, and apologies…I have deleted the original post, to split it into two sections,(following one of your suggestions to cut long articles down in size).

Now this debate could get quite philosophical couldn’t it? I personally have to say that if we are the only ones here then I would be quite surprised. I have always tried to say that there must be more to our lives that just this chaos which we all ‘run’ around in. But then what we learn and everything we can ever know will always be limited by the confines of our own imagination.

I honestly think the odds of us being alone in this universe are remote to say the least , how can it be possible in so vast an endless area that we can be the only lifeforms?

Hi Mandy, I like the theory that you presented. It’s plausible at least to the degree that we understand our universe. A theory that dovetails with that is that we may actually be the aliens in an evolutionary matrix with mother earth. BTW, I must recommend Larry Niven’s ‘Ring World’ series. Mandy,
You just may be closer than you think with the idea that we were created by aliens. I’ve studied the Sumerian civilization a bit and the more recent tablets that were found certainly indicated their connection to aliens. Also, check out the Sumerian tablets…the pictures will astound you.
If the subject is of interest to you, you should google them. It will open up your mind for sure.
I’ve been studying in the Metaphysical field for quite sometime now and nothing really surprises me anymore.

Hi Mandy,

Your posts never cease to amaze me. I am a Star Trek, X-Files, Babylon 5 etc. fan as well. In fact, I find it HARD to believe that we are the only planet in this universe (let alone other universes – who is to say there is only one) inhabited with living beings.

It’s most certainly an interesting subject all the way around. Oh, and there is just so much more I could say on the subject Will have to get around to it later …

Hi Mandy, I tend to agree with your theory, there must be others out there somewhere and maybe we are thier experiment…. Many things support this theory.
