How hard can it be to write 200 words?
My posting has been a little spasmodic lately due to some ‘off-line life’ activities and events that have prevented me from spending as much time as I would like online. When I have managed to get on here I seem to sit staring at a blank screen with a topic in mind – but no words come to me.
How hard can it be to write 200 quality and informative words on any single topic? Or even a longer article, say 400-800 words?
Well, most of us bloggers know that sometimes, no matter how hard we try, it simply does not happen.
For you, the answer could be to enter into the world of ghostwriters. This is a simple and cost effective way of keeping your blog fresh, with quality content, keeping up with those important articles, and you can even outsource longer reports and ebooks for such small amounts that I wonder why we all don’t do it.
Well I don’t do it too often because I do like to write my own content, but it’s a great resource when you’re tight for time, have ‘off-line’ events that demand your constant attention, or simply can’t get something down on paper in the way you want it to be.
The key is to find a quality ghostwriter who you can depend on, not only to get the job done quickly, but also someone who you can revisit every time you need something doing, and you know you will get the same standard of presentation with each written piece that comes back to you. Kathy Dobson has just written a post on outsourcing, you can visit her blog here.
I love my ghostwriter – just ask if you want their details. You can be assured of highly researched quality content in every piece of writing produced. Finding a good ghostwriter is hard – it’s always a great idea to follow recommendations from trusted fellow marketers.
Enjoy the journey.

Ghostwriters can be very versatile and a godsend when you need a helping hand. They will make your life easier when you are buried with too much work. When you find a good one, keep a close connection going because good ghostwriters tend to get booked frequently.
Hi Pat,
I totally agree with you…you have summed it up nicely.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi I thought I would pop by your blog and say hello!
I am in John Thornhill’s Masterclass for this year and am enjoying it very much indeed. How did you find it last year?
If you need any help with Twitter just let me know as I am very active there and help a lot of people.
Hope to speak to you soon.
All the best
Keith Dean
Hi Keith, thanks for dropping by. The course was great, very informative and I built some solid relationships with other marketers. I know you will get a lot out of it.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy! I admit I have been finding it hard to post sometimes. I find that my inspiration comes in bursts, and then other times I’ve got nothing. Or sometimes the material I’ve bitten off can be a bit more than I can chew. Ghostwriters sound like a good option for those times. Thanks!
Hi Olivia,
Finding a good ghostwriter is the key to it being successful. Some people choose to use overseas workers whose first language is not English, as they are cheap, but often get poor quality pieces and have to spend time editing them. The person I use is American, very cost effective, researches thoroughly and produces amazing articles that need no editing at all. They will also write ebooks from scratch. I’m happy to give their details if you need to use them anytime.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
Words are rarely a problem for me to start, but keeping at it drives me crazy. Ghostwriters for me are the way to go and the good ones are very much in demand.
Nice post to point out an alternative.
Thanks for popping by, Alan. If you need the details email me.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy, I’ve missed you lately my friend. I hope that everything is cool your end.
I totaly agree with you about sitting looking at the screen: You know my recent situation with myself and my mum, and at times i’ve done exactly the same.
I haven’t used ghost writers as yet but would be willing to give them a go later maybe, (especially for articles).
I’ll pop over to Kathy’s now.
Good to see you back on line Mandy, my best wishes to you.
Respect and Regards, Barry
Hi Barry, thanks for dropping by, I know you are pushed for time and it’s great to see you here. Hope all is well with you, and try my ghostwriter if you need to. I’ll email you the details.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hello Mandy, Glad to see you’re back on-line. One other option when you’re stuck for words is to use a PLR article; I’ve just done it for one of my posts. What I do wonder though is, did YOU write this post? Or was it your ghostwriter??
John
Ha ha ha, John! I write ALL my posts myself. I actually like to write my own content on my blog. Having had some articles written and having ‘guest posted’ on a few blogs it occurred to me that anyone really stuck could use a ghostwriter for their blog if they need to. You are funny. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
I’m a fellow Thornhill Masterclass student and am really enjoying the learning experience. Your blog looks great and the content is very high quality. It pays to write your own content.
Bruce Arnold
Thanks for visiting, Bruce. I agree, and original content is a must for the search engines too. A good ghostwriter can help you to maintain your reputation if you have difficulties keeping up anytime though. Glad you like the blog, visit often, leave me comments, and I will visit you too!
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy.
Hi Mandy –
WooHoo! Finally I’ve discovered just how you get so much done! You must have been one busy lady because very single blog I’ve been to recently you’ve already commented on the post! LOL.
Loving your work – And it is because you tell others the truth to make their life easier and do not pretend to be something that you are not, that I am a fan.
And I also agree with John’s comment, rephrasing PLR is a great way to get posting ideas… Not that I ever do that …
Sx
Hi Susan, it’s so good to see you back! I have been keeping up with your blog and love your posts, keep up the good work. Looking forward to speaking more often!
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
Well, I have had a good look through your blog and I have to say it is one of the best so far, of the twenty or so I have seen.
I am a newbie and on week 8 of JH’s MC course and I have not had the blog ‘drying up’ syndrome yet but no doubt it will appear.
You have written some excellent articles and I shall return.
Regards,
Bill
Well, I am humbled by that Bill, thank you very much, and thank you for reading my blog so thoroughly! I look forward to more comments from you – and I will certainly visit your blog regularly!
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy
Thank you for useful information. I would like to have a ghostwriter. I already have two blogs and write for both 2-3 times in week just not possible for me. For search engine optimization purposes I have to find suitable keywords for my posts. It is also time-consuming. So if you do not mind, could you pass me your ghostwriter contact details, please?
Regard,
Irina Overy
No problem, Irina. I will email you right away. Thanks for dropping by!
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
I have these professionals at the back of my mind because i know that one day i will need them one of which is a ghostwriter, and i also know now where to go for that service!
Cheers Mandy….Ed.
Hi Ed, reliable ghostwriters are like gold dust! Glad I found one!
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
I relate totally to what you’ve said. Even though I have a goal to write 3 posts a weeks, I still don’t find the time nor the drive to do it sometimes. I get stuck most of the time in front of my screen. As an alternative I am looking into a voice recognition software because I speak faster than I write, and it’s less scaring than a white page. This kind of software turn your talks into documents, isn’t it wonderful?
Cheers,
Katia
Hi Katia, thanks for visiting. Yes, this software was very popular with the MC students last year. Good luck with it.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
Excellent post! You nailed it with this post. With the constant rigors of life, it’s sometimes very difficult to find the time to complete productive tasks.
I often find myself staring at my computer screen with nothing accomplished. It’s an extremely profitable practice that I don’t recommend you partake in.
Thank you for the great tips about ghostwriters & the generous offer of allowing us access to yours.
Best regards,
George Nieves
Hi George, my ghostwriter is excellent and well worth looking into if you ever need help.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
How nice it is to see how much your blog has grown over the last year! I love the wide variety of categories.
I hadn’t given ghostwriters much thought as I always thought it best to write your own content. But for some things I can certainly see the benefit of hiring one. Thank you for the info, Mandy!
Kelly
Hi Kelly,
So nice to see you here! I agree that it is best to write your own content, but this is a great stand by for those times when you simply cannot fit it in. And of course there will be the day when you have so much work you need an extra pair of hands….
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
Excellent advice. I’m new this year to the Masterclass and with some recent stressful off-line activities (as well as being sick with a really bad cold) I can appreciate the idea of using a ghostwriter from time to time. I do love to write my own posts and that will certainly be my first choice. But I’ll make a note of your offer when I’m feeling overwhelmed! Thanks so much!
Lisa Fair
Hi Lisa, thank you for visiting. Please do email if you need details or any other help at all.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy
As many have said before I am also one of Johns new masterclass students and have found the course great! its also been very interseting visiting past students blogs to see how they have progressed!
I had not thought of using ghost writers yet, but can see the advantage when we are trying to do everything on our own, so thank you for the information
Carry on the good work
Nick
Hi Nick, thank you for visiting. It certainly is worth considering – I know some of last year’s group are using them and some even got a ghostwriter to produce their product for them.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
It’s hard to find a good ghostwriter – you find a good one, they disappear or they are all booked up LOL Its so valuable to have one you can just go to and who writes in your style.
Just popped in to say hello!
Gwen
Hi Gwen, I agree, sometimes it is hard to retain someone who is good, but the one I have found has been in the ghostwriting business for years and has a splendid reputation amongst the best marketers. I was very lucky to be introduced.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
I never imagined you have used a ghostwriter, although I am not surprised. You have always been so helpful giving your time to do guest posts, and reviewing Ebooks, mine being one, at times there just could not be enough time for yourself!
I am intrigued by the quality American writer you have found, so could you please send me details.
Best Regards,
Ray.
I will indeed, Ray. I have only used a ghostwriter for articles, never for my products or blog posts and I did not use one until 2010, although I recognise the value of this maybe for the future. I now have 5 blogs I write for as well as product creation etc. so it could become a possibility on the near future!
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy,
It can be difficult to find the time to actually sit and write 200-500 words of content, I have found that writing for your blog especially is good to do when you are ‘in the mood’. I sometimes write 5-10 posts all at once and then I know my blog is covered for two weeks or more.
Ghost writers are fantastic to use if you don’t have the time, patience or ability to put together well written content. Around 99% of my content for my Niche Affiliate Websites comes from my freelance writer.
Ben
Thanks for dropping by, Ben, nice to see you here! Yes, and you can always use the diary to book in your posts. Great idea to write in advance.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy

Mandy
Hi Mandy
I still don’t know how you manage to get around so many blogs and leave useful comments….even with a ghost writer.
You have a very popular blog, maybe you’d like to do a link exchange with someone not selling something
You will always be my favourite blogger!
Speak soon
Cheers
Aw Steve, you’re so sweet! I do spend a lot of time visiting other blogs, its true. I only use a ghostwriter for articles, never for my blog or for products. I like writing my own content for those.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Steve
Mandy
Great site!!
How does the ghostwriter thing work?
Stay healthy
Alex
Hi Alex, nice to see you here! I’ll email you with details but basically you choose a topic and the writer researches it and writes for you. My ghostwriter is a brilliant writer, excellent grammar and spelling (a must in my book), very well researched articles that hit the mark every time.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
Hi Mandy
Your writing about ghostwriters is exactly how I feel about this topic. I have similar problem with writing about something and find it difficult sometimes. I would appreciate if you could email details of your recommended ghostwriter.
All the best
Anna
Thank you for visiting, Anna. I have sent you an email.
Enjoy the journey.
Mandy
I believe in writing my own content for my #1 blog which is linked via my name here on this comment. I do however, accept guest posts. I feel that your main blog should clearly state your own point of view, or clearly name the “guest”. With blogs or niche sites created for the purpose of making money only, then outsourcing is a good idea if the cost makes sense.
Brandon Connell recently posted..Quick niche sites & fast commissions
I agree with you, Brandon. I actually only use a ghostwriter for articles, never for my blog post, but I do think it is a useful resource for anyone who struggles to write.
Enjoy the journey.
