Hey, Steve, Happy New Year to you, too! We were a little short of the target but the whole thing was a great success and we learnt LOADS! We have now found a project base in mid Norfolk and moved the horses there last week. Sadly we lost one of the horses just before Christmas (21st Dec) so the herd is now 7. Sad time for us all. The project launch is set for very early April and we already have customer bookings for experiences with the herd! So all is moving forward positively here. Hope your new job is going well.

I know what you mean about feeling satisfied and even euphoric when giving freely. This is a natural reaction, and because of it, there is a theory in psychology that there is “no such thing as altruism”. If altruism is defined as giving freely without reward, then satisfaction and eurhoria IS a reward.

Keep being altrustic Mandy, it’s good for everyone.

Id like to say, i admire your love of horses, and more so the effort and time you put in..

You know through the study of the American indians that i have undertaken over the years, i have learn`t a lot about the history of the horse into the southern western American plains by the spanish conquestaduers and how the apache,commanche, and navojo tribes tamed them becoming the birth of the first indian horse culture!
