Hello Mandy,
Sorry to hear about the loss of Glen, but you're right about needing to be positive and embrace change, good advice for anyone even when it sometimes seems difficult to do.

Best wishes

Dave

<em>Hello Dave, nice to see you here. Yes, we must embrace change, there really isn't any point fighting it.

Enjoy the journey.

Hi Mandy,

Sorry to hear about the loss, however yes change is something we all need to get used to.

I learned a long time ago, the power of change and the power of adaption. My father has often said to me I have lived double his life in my nearly 40 years to his 60 with what I have experienced both good and bad. However in saying, when change happens now, I embrace it. That does not mean I necessarily like it, but it does mean I work with it, learn from it, adapt with it and know that there is a reason for it and a lesson I am meant to be learning.

Change is part of our growth as humans, without change we don't grow.

Hope all is going well. see you back here soon!

Jacinta :D

<em>Thanks so much for your kind words about Glen, Jacinta. I do agree with you about the necessity of change - and I don't like it either!

Enjoy the journey.

Hi Mandy,
I could not have said it better myself...how you expressed the fact that Glenn's whole issue was an education for the whole. It will be a blessing in the future.
Everything really does happen for a reason and Glenn played his part...his role in this drama. He left a very valuable lesson that will be carried forward...his legacy.
Kathy

<em>Thank you, Kathy, for those words. It's lovely to see you here too!

Enjoy the journey.

Hi Mandy

I'm being addmitted to hospital again tomorrow, our blogs' 1st birthday. I should (hopefully) only be gone for 2 weeks.

I just wanted to stop by today and wish your blog a very happy 1st birthday for tomorrow, and to wish you all the very best for the year ahead.

May you sail the sea of ambition and land on the shores of success.

Respect and Regards,
Barry

<em>Hey Barry, best of luck with that, thanks for your good wishes, nice to see you.

Enjoy the journey.

Mandy,

So sorry for the loss. I could feel both your hurt and your wisdom in this post. It is so profoundly important to see the good that comes from a loss. I am no longer with my husband but yesterday I met a man named Glen. It's interesting how that name came up in my life around the subject of loss as well as in yours. We are all connected, no matter how far away.
Thank you for your post.
All the best to you and the wonderful things you do for others.
Ann

<em>Thank you, Ann. Change always brings something good eventually.

Enjoy the journey.

What a lovely post Mandy, touched my heart. Animals are living creatures that are as important to us as humans, the bond is as strong.

Major changes can be inflicted on us all the time. When we awake each morning, we have no idea what is going to happen...but a very good healer friend of mine sent me a text this week that I thought was really relevant.

There a days when we get bogged down and for me my work has been more than a bit busy and stressful lately. Anyway, the text said ...Every day you let things upset you is a wasted day in your life... that really stopped me in my tracks.

She was absolutely right. That morning I went into work and the things that normally would have stressed me out went straight over my head....and I kept a smile on my face all day, because it was not a wasted day.

To all readers, I sent you my best wishes - don't waste a day tomorrow.

Thank you for sharing that, Rosie. You always pop in here with words of wisdom.

Hi Mandy,

Sorry for your loss. I truly understand the sadness you and your organization are feeling. Some see animals as insignificant creatures but those of us who love them and care for them and understand them better understand their purpose. It seems as if Glen has given world of whispers a great gift both in his life and in his death. Funny, just by reading your post, I feel that I'm a little better off just by knowing about Glen :)

Take care,
Gwen

Hey, found your site by accident doing a search on Google but I'll definitely be coming back. As for your post... I agree with a lot of what you're saying here but wouldn't it be just as easy to move on? I mean why mess with your quality of life if you don't have to?

<em>A very good point, but often when change is forced upon us it is difficult to do that so we need to change the way we think about it, pull out the positives and concentrate on those. Thanks for dropping by, I look forward to your future comments.

Enjoy the journey.
