I've always wanted to ride horses, especially on the beach. Unfortunately, I'm so very allergic to them. It sounds like you had a great time.

<em>Thanks for visiting - hope you got time to visit the Project page, www.worldofwhispers.com. There are plans for 'time share horses' where, for a regular monthly fee, you can spend a whole day with your sponsored horse. Simply brilliant idea! And we're relocating the project here to Norfolk so riding on the beach is now really possible.

Enjoy the journey.

Hi Mandy, The horse is such an amazing creature and your photos are magnificent. The short time I spent horseback riding in my youth are the days I'll never forget - and as close to being a caballero as can be. Steve D

Hi Mandy!

Welcome back home. So I guess you've finally learned that life is more of a "ride". I'm really glad you had the experience and I am glad you have taken the time to share it with us.

I rode a lot as a kid....rent a horse and follow a guide for a mile and back to the barn. Then when my fathers boss moved to Wyoming, Dad would take the family on vacation (he and I worked, building condo's). But on the weekends Don (dad's boss), dad and me took horses and supplies up the mountain and camped out at a glacer lake and fished all week end. Three years in a row. It was great. Right in the Grand Teton montain range.

By the way Don Schuch (German name sounds like shook) was also an artist. Painted and sculped. Showed all over the U.S. and Europe. Now he and his wife run an art supply shop in Boise, Idaho. He is 86 and still foin at it.

I have his first painting of a mother horse and the baby colt.

Take care af your animals ya'll!
Jay

<em>Hi Jay, thanks so much for this. I am really looking forward to being there again later this month - we are going for the weekend when the publicity filming will take place. I won't just be a star in a photograph after all! We are holding an exhibition of the photographs of the horses here at the art gallery starting on October 10th. We are hoping ot raise quite a bit of money from that.

Enjoy the journey.

Hi Mandy,

Your experience sounds amazing, a bit like a life changing moment that will stay with you forever. We have a project similar in australia with the brumbies in the snowy mountains. Some of the farms actually have troubled kids go an stay to work on the farms and help with the horses. It changes them to be better people. Horses are a gift to our world.

I am sure you are enjoying your journey....

Jacinta :)

<em>Hi Jacinta,

Thanks for visiting. Yes, life changing is just the phrase I would use. There is a plan for a youth work placement scheme as well as offereing the 'experience' to children and young people. I can't wait to see it in action.

Enjoy the journey.

Hello Mandy,
Sounds like a great day (in spite of the work) and glad you enjoyed it. I must say the pics are good too. I think I'll be in SAudi Arabia (my engineering job) next year but if not I'll try and get there.

Best Wishes

Dave

<em>Hi Dave,

Thanks for visiting. I do hope you can be there - it would be so good to meet with all of you who have been so supportive of the project.

Enjoy the journey.
