Blogging has become a world wide phenomenon.  Anyone with computer access can now set up a blog.  A few people have become very successful at it.  These people have learned through experience what works and what doesn’t. I have worked hard to gain recognition in the blogging community and developed this blog topic as a result of my own ‘shaky’ start in the blogging world.

This blog will strive to bring you all the tips and hints you need to make your own blog successful as well as introducing you to the world of Reiki Healing and personal development.

Image of Mandy AllenI live in North Norfolk, UK and enjoy a variety of offline activities.  I have worked for 30 years as a youth worker and hold professional qualifications in community and youth studies.  I have had so many jobs I cannot possibly list them all here, but you can be assured that I have grabbed life with both hands and enjoyed every moment!  I now have antiques centres which I manage and run, dealing in a wide variety of antiques and colletables myself.  I have been doing this for 18 years and you can see one of my centres here www.shirehallplainantiques.co.uk.

Image of Mandy Allen alpaca trekkingI love animals and work with them in my spare time, both on a voluntary and a paid basis.  I am currently an alpaca trekker, taking families and groups of people for treks with alpacas along the coastal path in North Norfolk.  You can see the alpacas here: http://www.alpacatrekking.co.uk.  I also work as a groom on wedding carriages with the same company.

I also volunteer for a local charity that rescues animals and encourages interaction between the animals and young people.  You can visit the charity website here: A Change Of Scene for Children.

I received a visit to my blog from Joey Xoto. I checked out his blog and made a comment, and noticed you also in the comments, so I thought I’d check out your site. I like the look of it, and it seems to be full of useful info and resources – nice work!

I see you are also from the UK, in North Norfolk. I’m in Lancashire, which is North of North Norfolk! 🙂

Ah, I see, nice to get traffic from other sources. I used to live in St. Annes on Sea so do know Lancashire quite well.

          Enjoy the journey.

    Hi Mandy,

Last year (around August/September), you reviewed my book “Unleash Your Dreams: Going Beyond Goal Setting”. You gave me some excellent feedback to it, which I was able to make good use of.

The book has finally been published, after delays caused by three changes of address (the first from Switzerland to the UK), as well as all the usual interesting situations (problems) that life throws at us. It’s available in both Kindle and paperback versions.

I would like to send you a paperback copy of the book as a thank you gift. Could you please send you postal address to my email address?

Thanks for all the help, and looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Stephen

I like your offline businesses and what you are doing online. This page is a great example of being honest and straight forward. I would rather look at your site and read your emails other than some guru with flashy promises and sales copy. I’ve pretty much been like that since I been online (2007). I fallow real people instead of FAKE PEOPLE… 😉 I haven’t been able to make a full time income online in 10 years, still working at it. But it’s people like you and sites like yours that give me an eclectic backgroud. I started out just wanting to make money at home with an online career or profession that wasn’t mainstream. I still want that, but now I also want to be an expat; something I didn’t even know about 10 years ago. Thanks for good information and mainly being real about what really works! 😀 -Chad | iA

Hi Chad, thanks for visiting. I think we all start out wanting to make money, but it becomes less urgent and the online work becomes more enjoyable, then we get a passion and after that we find the money comes. When we are completely unknown it is very hard to make online income regularly or successfully. Good luck in your quest!

      Enjoy the journey!
